DSL Training in Early Years

This session is amended annually to ensure Designated Safeguarding Leads are kept up to date with current issues and guidance. Using national and regional information, we develop the session to be specific to the role

Early Years - staff online safety training

This session will support staff working in Early Years settings to understand the risks for young children accessing online apps, including games. It will also help staff to understand the risk of using online platforms and social media sites

Enhancing staff development through supervision in Early Years workshop

This session will support managers working in early years' settings to understand the benefits of effective staff supervision. It will provide managers with strategies to use to enhance staff development and also manage staffing performance issues through supervision

Safeguarding in Early Years

The aim of this training is to support practitioners to understand what is meant by child abuse and neglect, how to recognise common signs of abuse and how to act if you have concerns about children's care or safety. The session will also outline how to keep yourself safe by ensuring you follow your school's code of conduct. This is in line with the requirements of Annex C of the EYFS.
