Course description

Introduction 

We provide a range of Human Resources services. All HR services and investigations are delivered by Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development-qualified advisors.

Services Available

Investigations

We are able to undertake investigations as an independent investigations officer or provide HR support to organisation managers in relation to investigations as follows:

• Disciplinary concerns, including management of allegations against staff
• Grievances
• Performance management and capability 
• Dignity at work/bullying and harassment 
• Whistleblowing 
• Client complaints 

All investigations will be compliant with both relevant legislative requirements and organisational policy 

Investigation services can include:

• Attendance at fact-finding and investigatory meetings either as lead investigator or to provide HR Support
• Review of related documentation 
• Production or review of investigation report and supporting documentation 
• Presentation of management case at formal proceedings (where necessary)

HR advice and guidance 

We provide advice and guidance on all HR functions, including:

• Pay and grading - support and guidance on pay and grading issues.
• Workforce planning - support and guidance on management or organisational change, including structure reviews and workforce reduction programmes (including management of redundancies and redeployment).
• Recruitment and selection - independent advice on selection panels, providing advice on job descriptions, person specifications and recruitment processes.
• Human Resource policies and correspondence - reviews of HR policies and documentation in order to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice.

Membership packages/costs:

1 day is based on 7 hours.
