Introduction
Ensuring babies and young children sleep safely in early years settings is a vital part of safeguarding and promoting their wellbeing. Our Safe Sleep in Early Years Settings workshop provides clear, practical guidance on creating safer sleep environment in line with current best practice and national guidance, including recommendations from the Lullaby Trust. The session explores safe sleep positions, suitable equipment, risk factors, supervision requirements, and how to work confidently with parents to promote consistent messages between home and setting. This workshop strengthens knowledge, builds confidence, and supports compliance with safeguarding and welfare requirements.
