Introduction
This session is designed to support all participants with a specific focus on safeguarding children and adults at risk.
This session should be booked if you support both children and adults.
It will explore important guidance, policy and legislation your organisation should be aware of. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own setting and how they collaboratively safeguard children and adults.
Participants will have the opportunity to understand the categories of abuse relating to children and adults, while exploring the possible signs and indicators of abuse, neglect and exploitation.
The session will help participants to understand the importance of their own safety, as well as caring for and supporting the safety of children and adults at risk.
