Introduction
This session is designed to support all participants with specific focus on safegaurding children. It will explore important guidance, policy and legislation your organisation should be aware of. Participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own practice and how they can work within their organisation to safeguarding children.
Participants will have the opportunity to understand the four categories of abuse relating to children, while exploring the key signs and indicators of each category.
The session will help participants to understand the importance of their own safety, as well as caring for and supporting the safety of children.
