From initially identifying the need for a staffing structure review to implementing a formal redundancy process, this session will equip delegates to have the confidence to effectively manage both the informal and formal processes ensuring compliance with both contractual and legislative requirements

This session will cover:
- Statutory requirements and best practice procedures and processes to effectively undertake and implement staffing reviews and redundancy procedures
- How to write a robust business case
- How to implement a restructure
- Strategies to mitigate redundancies
- Consultation and communication with staff and unions
- Termination of employment
