About the Event

A focused 60-minute session giving governors the essential knowledge and confidence to oversee attendance strategically, within the latest framework updates fully included.

Key features:

  • Clear explanation of governors' statutory responsibilities 
  • Includes new framework information and current DfE expectations 
  • Why attendance is a safeguarding, inclusion, and curriculum priority 
  • How to interpret attendance data and spot patterns or risks 
  • Practical challenge questions governors can use with leaders
  • Links between attendance, SEND, pastoral support, and safeguarding 
  • Guidance on what governors should expect in termly reports
