Session Description

Introduction

This session will support managers working in early years' settings to understand the benefits of effective staff supervision. It will provide managers with strategies to use to enhance staff development and also manage staffing performance issues through supervision 

Attendees

This training is suitable for the following members of staff:

  • Early Years managers and senior leaders

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how supervision can be effective
  • Understand the legal requirements in line with EYFS
  • Be clear about the role of the supervisee/supervisor 
  • Understand the basic principles of supervision and how to implement these routinely in your setting
