Course description
Introduction
This session explores the principles underpinning inclusive teaching, with a particular focus on adaptive practice. We will reflect on the principles underpinning the Education Endowment Foundation (EFF) guidance on evidence-based approaches to supporting pupils with SEND. Staff will develop their understanding of how high-quality teaching can remove barriers to learning, participation and access and improve outcomes for all pupils. Through reflection, discussion and practical classroom examples, staff will consider how to embed inclusive teaching into everyday practice, ensuring all pupils can access learning, experience success and develop independence.
