Introduction
Kalmer Counselling will deliver this session to help understand more about relationships & dynamics within the classroom from the perspective of developmental psychology. We will explore the patterns of attachments, social interactions and unpick barriers to learning.
Attendees
This training is suitable for:
- Teachers, pastoral staff
- Support staff
- SEN staff/teaching assistants
- Outreach staff working with families where attachment is an issue
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand attachment theory and patterns of attachment
- Identify children's behaviours and patterns of relating to staff and peers
- Gain personal and professional awareness with regard to interactions with children and colleagues
- Gain an understanding of how to manage themselves more effectively in their interactions with children and young people
