Introduction
This session explores what we mean by the term behaviour and how to consider behaviour as a form of communication. We will explore factors that influence behaviour and consider the approaches we use to support children in communicating. The session is an interactive session that provides time for participants to identify and reflect on practical strategies that support children with additional needs, such as those with SEND of other vulnerabilities, to engage and interact positively, with the intention of reducing complex behaviours

This training is suitable for:
- All staff who have direct contact with children with complex needs, such as key workers, tutors, support workers, AP providers, volunteers, assessors
