About this Event
KCSIE and the OFSTED inspection framework both refer to how schools create a 'whole school culture of safeguarding'. This session will set out practical ways for schools to both establish and evidence how they achieve this and explore five key areas of practice which will enable you to better describe and effectively evidence the work that you deliver in your settings.
The session explores how we move from reactive and responsive safeguarding approaches to a proactive and preventative approach across our whole school community.
Attendees will receive a 'culture of safeguarding' checklist/self-assessment template to enable you to effectively evidence the approaches your school promotes.
